One of the reasons most gamers record their entire play sessions is so they would capture epic moments, which are nearly impossible to anticipate. If you are not interested in recording hours of gameplay, but you'd still like to share a perfect head shot or a kill streak with your friends, then SHU is the solution you need. The application is capable of recording your last 30 seconds of gameplay. In other words, you can capture a moment after it happened. You can think of this application as a handy "let's see that again" button, which you can use at any time.

The software is free and it doesn't have any restrictions if you register. Downloading its setup package and installing its core components shouldn't take more than a minute, even on modest machines. The software doesn't ask for any special tools or services and you don't need powerful hardware to run it.

The user interface has a clean and simple design and you don't have to deal with too many controls. If you take a peek into the general settings menu, you will find the three hotkeys you will need to remember. Through these hotkeys, you can take screenshots of the entire screen or part of it and record the last 30 seconds of gameplay.

The main function of SHU is quite easy to use. If something amazing just happened in your game, you only need to press the F8 key (by default) and the application will automatically save the last 30 seconds of footage.

All screenshots and recordings can be fond on the application's user interface, listed on the left side. The application places a few simple annotation tools at your disposal, so you can add text, lines, arrows, draw freely or blur something on in your snapshots or recordings.

Another key feature of SHU is the output options it provides. A share link is generated automatically for each snapshot or recording, which is displayed together with a copy option, so you can share your footage quickly and easily. Furthermore, you can save manually save individual items in a folder of your choice or share them on Facebook, Twitter or other social networks.

Thanks to SHU's unique functionality, you will never miss the chance to capture amazing moments in video games.

Pros

You can record events after they happen. SHU lets you annotate your snapshots and recordings. Also, it lets you share everything over the Internet.

Cons

There are no obvious flaws to address.
